10. May Rewards: Wow, flowers blooming everywhere. The grass needing cutting already? The rainy and cool days off and on. Birds are chirping early in the mornings. Still dreaming of the kind of weather that we say: "Aww, its so nice outside, just a perfect day." Almost grilling time outside. Love it, love it, when its nice outside.

Memorial Day is fast approaching - pools and beaches will begin there summer crowds and all that goes with them. My oldest daughter is heading to the beach that weekend. She can hardly wait to see the ocean and sand dunes of Nags Head.
